welcome to bad dog glassworks … one-of-a-kind glass art … handmade in Canada

Using glass from around the world, and sometimes even recycled glass, I make unique beads using a technique called lampworking. I shape and form molten glass in a flame, decorate it using colour and texture, then anneal the bead in a kiln to give it strength and durability.

Then, using silver, copper, leather, ribbon, yarn and other materials I turn beautiful beads into wearable pieces of art.
